FindShortlet provides an online platform that connects guests seeking short-term accommodations with hosts who offer such spaces. Our services include property listings, bookings, secure payments, and communication tools between guests and hosts. FindShortlet acts as a trusted intermediary but does not own, manage, or control any listed properties.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide Accurate Information: You must ensure that all account details, property listings, and booking information are truthful and complete.
• Respect Other Users: You agree to communicate respectfully and act in good faith when booking or hosting.
• Maintain Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activities conducted through your account.

4. Host Obligations

• Hosts must provide accurate property details, pricing, and availability.
• Hosts must ensure their property meets local safety, hygiene, and legal standards.
• Hosts agree to honor confirmed bookings and manage cancellations responsibly.

5. Booking & Payments

When a guest makes a booking, they agree to pay the total cost displayed at checkout, which may include cleaning fees, service fees, and applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely through FindShortlet’s payment partners. Refunds and cancellations are subject to the host’s cancellation policy and our platform rules.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use FindShortlet to:

• List properties you do not own or have permission to rent.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Engage in illegal or unsafe activities within a booked property.
• Attempt to bypass our payment system or policies.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Guests and hosts may cancel bookings based on the cancellation policy selected by the host. Service fees may be non-refundable. In rare cases such as fraud, emergencies, or violations of policy, FindShortlet reserves the right to issue partial or full refunds at its discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

FindShortlet shall not be held liable for:

• Property Conditions: Damages, losses, or disputes between guests and hosts.
• Technical Issues: Service interruptions or technical failures beyond our control.
• User Conduct: Any unlawful or inappropriate actions of users.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or misuse our platform. Termination may also occur due to repeated policy violations or fraud.

10. Changes to Terms

FindShortlet may modify these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. All disputes will be settled under the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
